* Changes in the work/money system to reduce grind and eliminate the need for cheats.
* Changes to the phone-hint system, including the ability to turn off hints for specific characters you don’t want hints for.
* 32 new scenes/events (more may be added when Update #2 Official is out).
* 5 new NSFW scenes.
* Official support for ANDROID/Touchscreen platforms.
* Introduction of a couple more locations, which will be accessible in Update #3.

Update #1 Official (Release Date: February 5, 2021):

* 15 added scenes with "main characters," Sophia, Julia, and Alex.
* 2 new named characters (both female).
* 1 new unnamed character (female) who makes a quick appearance.
* NSFW scene available for all "main characters" and one new character.
* Basic sandbox mode, allowing players to follow love interests to their own desires.
* Gameplay functions and features, including a location tracker, quick time-forwarding, and more.
* Phone and Laptop features like tracking score, hints, making money, reliving old memories, and "playing" other F95 VNs.
* Apartment 96 Player’s Guide included with the download. We highly suggest reading it.
* Dialogue and scene changes to the Prologue for continuity.
* A bunch of new music tracks.
* Fixes to the hint system, a couple of minor tweaks to gameplay maths, and typo/dialogue fixes.
* A few other things…

Initial Release.
* Linear story line, though some decisions affect later updates.
* Introduction to three main characters (Sophia, Julia, and Alex).
* 13 scenes/events spread out over an in-game week.

Prologue Dev Notes:
The aim of the prologue is to introduce the player to several aspects of the game to get them used to playing Apartment 96. After the prologue, the game is outlined to become more of a "sandbox" style where the player can choose their own path with whatever characters they want. Updates will try to provide content for all (or at least most) characters, but is subject to change. What is added to the game is determined by the Devs, though any that are interested in certain types of genres/tags can talk to us about them on our Discord. Patreons will be given more weight.

Update #1 Dev Notes:
Our first update will be released sometime the first week of February, 2021. While most all of the work went into putting together this update, we did go back and make some changes to dialogue in the Prologue. I (Vhaerun) was actually the second writer and entered the project after the first half of the prologue ahd been finished. I kept it mainly as it was and tried crafting a story to that, but my own style and direction made things quite confusing for players at several points. As such, I’m actually still working on the dialogue in the prologue. Check back here for notes regarding changes to earlier versions.

Update #2 Dev Notes:
Update #2 is scheduled for release on April 16, 2021, and features a lot more content, as well as a reworking of the work/money system to reduce the grind and difficulty that was in the original system. In Update #2, the player now has a choice of five different jobs they can complete in a week, and it only takes one "turn" to finish the job. There’s no need for a large amount of money anymore, as the prices for upgrades and certain actions in the game are adjusted to compensate.

Update #3 Dev Notes:
Just now in the planning stages, Update #3 is still too early in development for releasing a lot of information. By the end of Update #3, it is planned to have the basis/background down for all the "uber-plots" for the first arc of Apartment 96. There are likely to be two or three new characters introduced that will eventually be approachable by the MC… but all of this is still in conversation among the devs only. All of this may (and probably will) change.
