Translator Notes:
The translation was done in Translator++ with mostly DeepL and lots of polishing.
Google Translate was used to get the easy stuff out of the way, then every single line was fed into DeepL and the end result was compared and polished. It’s as heavily edited as an MTL can be.
This is my second translation. I owe a lot for the quality of this translation to , whose help on gave me the tools and knowledge to properly locate and translate text and images I previously couldn’t.
– A couple of lines(mostly exposition or backstory) were quite hard to translate properly, since they included a ton of text in Japanese, which made it physically impossible to fit the English text in the single text box provided by the developer. I have done my best to convey all the important information in those, omitting as little as possible.
– In the Clown Dance events, any dialogue from the people watching was simply labelled as "Crowd", which made for very odd sounding lines at times. Due to this, I have decided to give each NPC a distinct name based on their identifying features, some of which names have also made it into the random events for those NPCs, in order to help the player make an easier connection.
– There is a space before the name of the character talking. I have decided to leave it in, first of all because it actually serves as an indent of sorts, and second of all it’s so minor and widely spread that trying to change it at this point is bound to make a bigger mess than it cleans up.
– It is possible that I have missed a ":" after the name of a character. Please, report such typos so that I can find and correct them.
If you spot a typo, extra/missing space, cut-off text, or anything else that can be improved, feel free to DM me or post it in the thread.
Overall, I’m quite happy with how this translation turned out. I hope you enjoy the game!
