I’m currently working nearly full-time on Cheerleaders, and while my computer is quite powerful (shoutout to the amazing RTX 4090!), rendering a single 4K image still takes about 20 to 30 minutes. During those rendering sessions, I usually write the story and code to stay productive—but it still leaves me with some “free” time.

Rather than just waiting around, I’ve decided to put my old computer (featuring the not-so-amazing RTX 2060…) to good use. I’m using it to render and work on smaller side projects: and for fun, I’ve started a new side project called Casteen.

That said, don’t expect too much from it—rendering a small HD image takes hours. So unlike Cheerleaders, these small projects will have fewer renders, lower image quality, but more story and words per render.

Don’t worry, though—Cheerleaders remains my top priority, and that won’t change. This side project is just something I’ll work on during downtime, so updates will be less frequent.
And unlike Cheerleaders, I won’t aim for a monthly release schedule. Instead, I’ll publish updates when I feel there’s enough content to share.
